How does Logical Decisions help people think about their problems...?
When people think about a decision, they don't really start out with a defined hierarchy of goals, objectives and weights. For example, let's say you want to make a rational choice about buying a sports car. In this case you may be thinking...

Because of its meaning as "observational, not opinionated, and only based on facts," "clinical" could describe someone who thinks logically instead of impulsively. Thanks for asking ChaCha!

Why do Feminists believe that women can’t make logical decisions for themselves???
Q: This morning, as I stopped at a local diner, I noticed that a group of so-called “feminists” from a local college had declared this “Date Rape Prevention Week” and had put flyers in the diner declaring this factAmong other things printed on these flyers was a proclamation that “NO MEANS NO; Women have an absolute right to refuse sex or any form of sexual activity. If a woman says ‘NO’ to any sexual activity during a date the man must respect this. If he engages in that sexual activity it is Acquaintance Rape, even if she says “yes” after saying “no”.While most of this proclamation makes sense, the last line seems to suggest that Feminists do not recognize a woman’s right to change her mind over the course of an evening.By this standard, if a woman were to politely refuse to kiss a man in a restaurant (they also proclaimed kissing to be a sexual activity), and then offered to kiss him when he dropped her off at her door, the man would have to refuse (thus likely insulting his date) or risk committing “acquaintance rape”.Do Feminists not believe that the very women they proclaim to be just as intelligent and logical as men (a point I agree with) lack the ability to change their minds (something intelligent and logical people often do)???By the way, this flyer also demanded that men employ a mathematical formula to determine if a woman is “intoxicated” and proclaimed that “Sexual activity with an intoxicated woman is acquaintance rape. The mere fact that she doesn’t ‘appear drunk’ isn’t enough; use the formula.”Apparently, men now need to carry a copy of this rather long and convoluted formula and a calculator on a date.
A: I agree - this is insane. I think that this is a natural result of the Feminist side of the sexual revolution. For a while, we ladies insisted that we are exactly like men- we just LOVE, casual, anonymous sex without commitment. Well, the problem is that some of us don't, or sometimes don't, and then we end up feeling used.It used to be a rather simple prospect to say "no" to a random stranger about an invitation to sex. Since it was expected that the woman would refuse, no one's feelings were really hurt. Girls who wanted to say "yes" always did anyway. In an effort to embrace women as equal parters to men, and as equally sexual beings, (which we are, of course), we effectivly made it really difficult for a woman to say no. Now she's either being a prude of a tease, or just doesn't want to be with that specific guy. If she really likes the guy, this puts her in a bad spot.I am not justifying regret-turned "rape". However, I am noticing that women are still women, and will still be the ones wrestling with uncomfortable feelings after sharing their bodies with strange men. "Date rape", I believe, is the natural outcome of forcing the majority of women to pretend to be men. Personally, I think that women need to regain the strength to stand by their own actions. I have never been "date raped", (and while many women have indeed been actually raped by an aquaintance,) I believe that part of the reason is that I don't get drunk with strange men and go back to their apartments - duh.
