Why Has it Become Such a Battle...?
Q: With people wanting to defend "traditional" marriage and families? There are so many definitions that could be attached to these words. For example, I'm a single mom who is not looking for a husband -- am I "attacking" the idea of the family? My best friend and her roommate raise her two nieces -- again, not traditional. The point is that there are lots of varieties of family in our country that raise healthy, happy kids. So what's the battle all about???"Heritage," Bonnie? This country has a "heritage" of slavery, too.
A: The Battle is this.. People believe that you can't raise a happy family without a father and a mother. they think that it is positively necessary for both to be in play to have a whole happy and well rounded child. They (socity) try to put down any parent who does work the two jobs to keep their faimly well taken care of. They try by point out statitcs like most tenage crimes happen when there is only one parent in the home but yet they fail to mention all the stuff that happens even when there are two in the house. So I say screw them all If you Love nurture and raise your child properly then they can all kiss butt. I am talking from personal experience. If you want that family then get your family and forget what "They" say.
