Proof of residence?? Please Help!!?

Q: I live in Ontario and need to have a criminal backgroud check done for volunteering purposes. I was told I need to have proof of residence. I'm a student and rent an apartment, I don't have ny bills in my name and am not under a lease (my roommate is and I was added on later so I have no copy of a lease). I keep all of my documents under my parents home address because this address is short term. What can I use for proof of residence?? I get a credit card bill at this address, but I don't think I can use that. ANyone have any ideas? Will my landlord be able to give me something as proof? I'm confused

A: If your current address is short term, the credit card bill will do. Put your parents' address as your previous address, they can use that for checking just as easily. Are you on the electoral roll? If not, get on it.
