A: I worked in several facilities in the past and this looks like questions you are being asked, but I will help a little: Its against the law to ask #1(age and gender); 2. I'm committed to pursue a career in the cj system because...3. Institutions are appropriate when one's behavior cannot be modified alone or he is no longer fit to contain himself in society. Groups impact pressures to contain unfit behavior.4. Overcrowding does nothing but initiate riots. Which agains as said before "groups impact pressure to contain unfit behavior-in or out of prison. 5. You need to list work kind of work you've done in the past that relate to treatment in a correctional institution.6. The crisis right now is "building" out of control. Too many institutions are being erected but no rehabilitation. Too much thought of "containing" the violent acts for a short while and then they go back into society same as they were before. Prison needs to be a hard place, not a holiday inn. Prisoners need to pull their weight while they are locked-up, not get free dental, free schooling, free medical, and a warm bed to sleep. My opinion: I've worked with inmates, while in prison and when they get out, and they laugh that prison is a synch. Its like going away to college for a while because the treatment isn't hard enough; I think they owe their victims and the victims advocates should be counseling them while they are contained. Every time they get commissary money, a portion should go to the victim or family. I am sickened to the great proportion of funds each government spends on building more prison complexes with luxuries. Camps are where they should spend their time, not air conditioned, cable TV access, and state of the art facilities.
